Wombats are marsupials (which means they have a pouch) and are native only to Australia.
Looking like a mix between a pig, a large beaver without the tail and a bear, it can weigh up to 30kg and is a muscly machine.
Wombats live in burrows where they spend the day, emerging at night to eat our luscious green grass. We have quite a few burrows around Broger’s End, our most used burrow is at the end of The Shed garden by the little potting shed. She usually comes out at about 5pm to head off on her nightly adventure.
Don’t forget to take some piccy’s of any wombats you see on the property and tag @brogersend in them!
