The Dairy

A unique country hideaway

The Dairy was one of the original dairy milking sheds in Upper Kangaroo River. This cottage has been lovingly restored and creatively transformed into luxury accommodation using reclaimed and recycled materials.

A luxurious eco-haven for a peaceful escape from the everyday world! The three sets of French doors, which used to allow three cows in to be milked at once, now allow the living area to be opened to the alfresco dining area which is covered by an old wisteria vine.

The Dairy can sleep up to four people, with a comfortable pillow top queen bed as well as a pullout sofa bed in the sitting area, however is mostly suited to 2 guests due to the size of the space.

There is an indoor bath and separate shower, but for the ultimate bath experience with a difference, why not relax in the outdoor garden bath?

The Dairy also boasts a rustic wood-fired stove to keep you cozy in The Dairy during winter and air conditioning to keep the space cool in summer.

Facilities

Facilities in the cottage include linen and towels, free wireless internet, and ceiling fan – plus air conditioning. The well-appointed kitchen overlooking paddocks will inspire you to create country fare. There is an espresso machine stocked with fresh coffee beans roasted right here in Kangaroo Valley. Feel free to pick herbs from the garden and collect the free range eggs from our chickens to add to your meals.

Broger’s End is pet friendly so dont forget to bring along the four-legged family member! Pets are welcome in The Dairy, we just ask that they are kept off of the furniture and we also have a secure dog enclosure in the garden in the case you wish to leave them behind whilst exploring our beautiful Valley.

Whilst we welcome all guests and groups – The Dairy is set up perfectly for a couple or two guests. Children and extra guests are welcome but please keep in mind that there is limited space. Feel free to message us to discuss prior to booking.

Activities

Established walking tracks through varying landscape take you through paddocks, escarpment, rainforest, offering many picnic spots with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats up close in their natural environment! Whether you choose to explore everything the valley has to offer, or to relax in the garden, or by the fire with a good book, Broger’s End is a wonderful escape.
